Lego Challenge

Lego challenges for vacation days!

A bridge that reaches over 12" and holds up the iron.

An animal made with only three pieces.

A plate with something written in Braille or print

A stairway with 20 steps and a secret compartment somewhere

A house made out of exactly 50 pieces

A candy dispenser that gives out MnMs

Use a rubber band and build a catapult that shoots a 2x2 brick the farthest.

Abi Reading Narnia

Abi has made huge strides in her reading level this year. "The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe" is reading grade level 5.9. Not bad for a kid in grade 3.5. #ProudMama #MomBrag

Grandma Spoiling

My mom needed her fix with the grandkids, so we went down a few days after Christmas. We'd planned to go Tuesday, but the roads were drifted over and closed. So it got moved to Wednesday. But it turned out fun. The kids discovered that they got a second Christmas at Grandma's so they were thrilled.

Christmas 2016

For Christmas this year, we decided to stay home, and it was just right! Hubby and I organized and led the Christmas Eve candlelight service at church, which we love.

Merry Christmas!

Job Love

I think I'm the luckiest person in the world to get to work in a little, old-fashioned toy store and pharmacy. I love retail, and the Christmas season was magical at Hodgin's!

We marched with the Hodgin's float in the Christmas parade on December 1.

After Christmas, on a slow Monday, the kids came to keep me company for a bit.

My job this year was pies! I made eight. :)

The view at Tye and Amy's house is amazing. Beautiful spot.
