Chickens Too

Now we truly have a "farmyard in town!" The chickens have been a little more trouble than the bunnies because they can get out of the yard. So far, they always come back though.

Sethie is nine!

A string draped all over the house with notes greeted our birthday boy.

Special birthday lunch and shopping trip

Cake with a video game character.

A few things of note:

1. Quality Time is definitely this kid's love language.
2. He still doesn't want me to cut his hair. I asked him why, and he said it's mostly because he hates the feel of haircuts. Yep, my sensory-sensitive kid.
3. He used his birthday money to buy a huge Lego train set.
4. I still love this kid so much it hurts.

Beautiful October

The boys and I have had such a wonderful time playing out in the warm fall weather.

I love all my fuzzies. :)

Ducky Love

We acquired a duck at the county fair. I've never been around ducks, other than the wild ones at the park, and I assumed this one would be quite aloof, like they are. To my surprise, she is entertaining, snuggly, loud, messy, demanding, and totally adorable!! We named her Jemima Puddle Duck, and call her Puddles.
