Pioneer Cemetary

We stumbled upon this little piece of pioneer history just outside of town: a little old cemetery up on a hill, surrounded by wheat fields. The minute I saw it, I imagined horse-drawn wagons and log cabins, and I was right. Most of the stones were erected around 1900. The oldest one was 1881, and many of the people were born in the mid-1800s.
