Living with no air conditioner creates an interesting phenomenon in the hot summer weather. The thermometer seems to read different numbers than it does in the winter. For example, I was chilly the other day and wandered out to the back porch for a sweatshirt. On the way past I thought I'd see if the temperature had somehow dropped into the sixties since that is what it felt like to my goosebumpy skin.
It read 77.
I guess that's better than feeling uncomfortably hot.
